Dr. Julie Lohr
Dr. Julie Lohr is a Sioux City native, graduating from Heelan High School in 2000. In 2004, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Briar Cliff University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2008 from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. After graduation Dr. Lohr completed a one year General Practice Residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and graduated in 2009.
 
Dr. Lohr accepted a full time position in Marshalltown, Iowa in July 2009 for Primary Health Care Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Dr. Lohr worked at PHC for nearly three years before making the much anticipated move back to her hometown of Sioux City.

Dr. Lohr looks forward to serving the community for many years to come not only as a hard working dentist, but as an active and involved citizen of Siouxland. She is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Iowa Dental Association. Dr. Lohr has been active with the Sioux City Dental Society and the Northwest District Iowa Dental Association holding officer roles.  She has been involved with Give Kids a Smile and Donated Dental Services to volunteer to those in need.  Dr. Lohr feels it is very important to help those who cannot afford dental care.  Dr. Lohr served on the Mercy Foundation Board for ten years and currently is Vice-President of the FIRE Foundation Board of Northwest Iowa. She enjoys serving the community in various ways
 
​In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband Chris and their four children, Jack, Savannah, Landon, and Charlotte. She also enjoys cooking, running, and other outdoor activities.
